About the Developer

Making a visual novel like this has always been a dream of mine. I used to play these games all the time and just sit there thinking “man, I wish I could make one of these someday.” Well… here we are. *Homecoming* is that dream finally happening.

Thanks a ton for checking out my game! I’m building this whole thing by myself putting in a lot of time, energy, and love into every little part. It honestly means a lot that people are interested in what I’m making. If you end up liking it, leave some feedback whenever you can. Your thoughts and ideas actually help more than you know!

About the Game

In Homecoming you play as a guy who just got back home after three years in the military… only to find out everything’s changed while he was gone.

The people he cares about are dealing with their own problems, and it’s up to you to help them through it and decide how things play out.

Even though it’s a visual novel, I didn’t want it to feel like you’re just reading a story. So the game has a more open-world vibe, some temporary minigames, and choices that actually shape how your playthrough goes.

Important Notice: Pre-Alpha

Just a heads-up: Homecoming* is still in Pre-Alpha. After the intro you’ll notice the content is pretty limited and some parts can feel a bit repetitive. There’s still a ton of work left to do.

I also wanna be real with you about where things are at right now: I haven’t had enough time yet to add more intimate scenes, deeper character relationships, or solid progression past the early stuff.

Even the introduction took way longer than I expected, but I’m fully committed to improving the game and expanding it as much as I can.

- Better gameplay systems and extra minigames

- More meaningful character progression and new scenes as development continues
